Danielle has coached for over 30 seasons including with the Calgary Flames of the NHL since 2018 and we are thrilled to offer this opportunity to learn from the best.

More about Danielle's impressive skating and coaching career:

Danielle Fujita is one of only two female skating coaches in the NHL and there are only a total of thirteen skating coaches that are working full time for an NHL team. She has been working for the Calgary Flames since 2018 and has over 30 years of coaching experience. She takes a no-nonsense approach to her teaching and yet has a unique ability to truly connect with her athletes. Danielle genuinely cares about the players she works with but she is not ok with status quo, negativity or mediocrity and her coaching clearly reflects that. If she doesn’t see immediate improvement from her players she carries that as her responsibility. She believes that progress comes from effective teaching, accurate communication and creative problem solving. When you see her in action you really gain an appreciation for her gift of teaching!
